Quick test of my three HD camera set up. Cameras involved in this test:
- Canon HF S10 @ 1080P
- Canon HF S10 @ 1080P with triple video lights on.
- NikonD90 @ 720P with Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.5 lens
- Canon T2i @ 1080P with Canon 50mm f1.8 lens
Note: All clips were shot indoors with indoor lighting except for the one where I used video lights on my Canon.
Conclusion: Canon T2i with this f1.8 lens ROCKS!
Editing done in Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 using basic color correction and sharpen effect.
Making of Canon L Series 500mm F4L IS USM. Part 3 of 3 in the production of expensive camera gear. L series is Canon’s Premium lens line featuring fluorite lenses. IS refers to Image Stabilzation build into the lens, and USM refers to Ultrasonic Motor drive that makes focusing faster than older systems. Currently I’m using a Rebel XT, although I’m thinking of upgrading to an XTi or 5DMk2. This 500 with the New 5D would be a sweet combination.

In this video i show you firstly how cokin filters are packaged and how to handle them and fix it onto your camera. I then also show you the examples of some of the issues with using filters like this (lens flare and glare) (sun spots on your image) but also how it can make images look more cool.
