it also depends on … it also depends on when you bought the d80 if you bought it two years ago when it first came out then upgrading to the d90 is worth it if you bought it recently then no because you haven’t used the camera. the d60 is actually is some ways better than the d80.

Hmm, I disagree … Hmm, I disagree when you ’said’ that the D90 was for the people who wanted to upgrade from a D40,D60 or D80. Well, it would be fine with a D40 and the D60 but not with the D80.
I have the D90 myself and a friend of mine has got the D80.
When you upgrade, you pay for a whole new camera, and with the price you pay for a D90 and then check the advantages of the D90 over the D80 it would not add up to the price.
A D300 would be better if you ask me.

Good video. One … Good video. One major advantage of the D300 over the D90 (at least IMO) is the inclusion of the Ai ring. This allows metering with just about every lens ever made in the Nikon mount.

great video! im in … great video! im in the exact moment of buying a camera and the choise were between a D 90 or a D300. i will go for the D300 only becouse of its durability/weatherproofnes.
if the D90 were weatherproof i would probably have choosen it.

similar yes, … similar yes, however I find the d300’s viewfinder’s accuracy for useful. With the d80 (similar view finder to the d90) when I took picture I would often have to crop some of the picture because I got some tree in it or something. And the brightness of the d300 is noticeable especially in low light (I got to use a friend of mines d90). However, your right it is not a huge difference. D90 has the best viewfinder in its class.

Oh, and when you … Oh, and when you said the D300 has a BRIGHTER viewfinder, I found that subjective. It IS more accurate, but the two cameras both have similarly bright and excellent viewfinders.

That was a good presentation of the two cameras of the D90 and D300. I had the Nikon D200 and it was a great camera to use and it had a handgrip. The video was well made and you did a good job in review. I like the photos and the words you have written on the two cameras to choose which is the choice to make. Well done. Miike111

This video was … This video was imformative and it helped me to choose between the D90 and the D300. I picked the D300. Though the HD video was very tempting on the D90 but I know myself well enough and I wouldn’t use a major feature like that. I mean, why would I want to spend half of the money toward a camera for half of the features that I know I wouldn’t use? D300 made lot more sense to me.

Well fair enough if … Well fair enough if you’ve personally decided not to edit your photographs, but the ability to edit on photoshop is a pretty basic requirement for most nowadays and if you’ve any commercial ambitions its mandatory.
The main issue however is that nikon are selling a camera with a function that simply can’t be used and thats either lazy or just plain dishonest.
