yes, it will fit all except the D3 and D3X, also don't forget it will not fit the D700. The lens you are selling is a gem! I would consider keeping it unless you have a replacement.

Yes, It’ll ‘fit’ all these camera bodies but it’ll work properly with all except the D3 and D3X.

These two cameras are full frame bodies and the lens is for DX bodies. On a FX (full frame) body the lens can be used but there will be no image on the peripheries or the camera will have to be adjusted for small sensor for normal use. I hate doing that since full frame is what attracts me to FX cameras.
