hey guys
what do u think abt nikond90 with 18-105mm lens and 70-300mm
coz i’m on a budget and if i bought the d300 it will be only with the 18-105mm so what do u think ppl abt it??
70-300mm lens is too soft and slow for my taste.
Why don’t you opt for Nikkor 18-200mm or a combination of Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200mm lens instead of the 18-105mm and 70-300mm lens ?
If you can’t afford any of the combinations, just buy D90 with the kit lens and save the remaining money. Keep adding to it and when you have enough funds buy some good fast lens instead of 70-300mm now.
Quick test of my three HD camera set up. Cameras involved in this test:
- Canon HF S10 @ 1080P
- Canon HF S10 @ 1080P with triple video lights on.
- NikonD90 @ 720P with Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.5 lens
- Canon T2i @ 1080P with Canon 50mm f1.8 lens
Note: All clips were shot indoors with indoor lighting except for the one where I used video lights on my Canon.
Conclusion: Canon T2i with this f1.8 lens ROCKS!

Lenses are pages, kind of like flyers or signposts or overview articles, that gather everything you know about your topic of interest – and snap it all into focus. http://www.squidoo.com

This video describes the 2-3 recommended lenses when you get your first DSLR. Get the 18-55 or the 18-200, then get the 50mm.

im just curious…
cause then if i buy a D90 i wont have to buy a lense for it and save some money
Thes lenses will FIT and will have full function. BUT when using the view finder, you will see more than your D90 will photograph. This is because the lenses for the N60 are designed to project onto a larger sensor (35mm film as opposed to a cropped frame sensor.
If you use a D90 lens on your N60 on the other hand, part of the film will probably not be exposed.
However, both cameras use Nikkor lenses, which have the same mounts.
