Nikon d90 can't take pictures. Help!?

Sunday May 24, 2009

I have a Nikon d90 with the standard Nikon DX 18-105 mm G lens and sometimes I can't take pictures in auto mode. It flashes F– what is wrong?

Look towards the rear of your manual for the troubleshooting section. There is a table of error messages. Blinking F– is a lens problem. Be sure your lens is properly mounted. See the manual for lens attachment and removal.
